About Nazi Video Monitoring Project (NVMP) RU

In 2023, the number of videos documenting far-right attacks on the Russian Telegram has skyrocketed. The far-right themselves publish these videos for propaganda purposes. Few of the crimes depicted in these videos receive media attention. Police response to them is even rarer.

We keep a record of such videos. By doing so, we want to draw public attention to the growth of far-right violence in Russia, help identify the perpetrators, and prevent such attacks from becoming more violent.

We archive but do not publish the original videos so as not to condone the spread of far-right propaganda. In our Telegram channel we publish screenshots of the videos, which can be used to establish the circumstances of the crimes and find the victims. We archive only new videos that depict far-right violence. We do not archive similar videos from previous years and other propaganda materials - we do not have enough resources.
